Share Boomerangs
When you get the boomerangs, throw up to 3 of them in the air, then switch turtles, and have the new turtle catch them.
The new turtle will be able to use those boomerangs without having picked up a boomerang icon.
Easy way to restore power
Find a doorway that has a pizza slice or full pizza right at the beginning. Enter, grab the pizza, and exit. If you
go back in the pizza will regenerate. Use this to restore power to all your turtles.
Giant Mouser boss
The Giant Mouser at the end of level 4 can be beaten even more easily than normal with this trick. Just stand under
him and wait for his mouth to open. When his mouth opens to reveal the "weak spot", pause the game. Unpause the game,
and the Mouser's mouth will be closed again, but his weak spot will be slightly visible from behind his mouth. You can
now hit it to cause damage while his mouth is closed! Repeat this every time he opens his mouth for an easy victory.

On the title screen press down on the control pad 5 times, then press right on the control pad 7 times, then A, B, Start.

On the Title Screen, press Up, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, B, A, Start

Building relationships
Once you reach the level where you can use all four turtles at once, you
must begin to build relationship with your brothers. Do this by using your
brother throw but, take turns who is doing the throw. For example, Leo
throws Ralph and vice versa, Don throws Mikey. Successful brother throws
will build their relationship then you can use their double team attacks.
However failed throws will make them mad at you, and they will go away and
you must win their trust again. Raphael tends to be the one that you make
mad most often.
Defeating the Shredder
In the Boss fight where you must defeat the Shredder, instead of focusing on
the many Shredder clones, try fighting the real Shredder. He just stands
still while his clones fight you. One attack that works well is Don's team
move that shocks any enemy near its radius. Approach him close and use it.
It will shock the clones and him, and he will not be able to attack. Change
to Raphael because he fights the hardest and attack the Shredder a few times
until he recovers. When he recovers repeat the steps until he is defeated.
After this level the Foot clan, use a similar tactic when a Foot commander
calls in more Foot ninjas as you defeat them. Use the same tactic on him. If
you do not he will overwhelm you with hordes of Foot ninjas.
